Romanticize your senses...
As you walk into the room, there's a heavenly scent in the air . . . IT'S CHOCOLATE!
You follow your nose to what appears to be a chocolate fantasy. Towering over a display
of tasty treats such as succulent strawberries, luscious butter cookies and crunchy
pretzels, and more, is what appears to be a glistening, four-story, chocolate wedding
cake. No, wait— IT'S MOVING! The chocolate is actually moving! IT'S A FOUNTAIN! You
grab a strawberry and dip. As you hold it over your mouth, a drop of warm – IT'S WARM! -
Belgian chocolate hits your tongue. You slip the strawberry in your mouth. You have just
experienced the ultimate in chocolate fondue. IT'S PARADISE!

Wines & Champagnes

Hmmm…
Are you having a bridal shower, engagement party or WEDDING? Choosing the wine is
the most difficult part of this "task" for any celebration. You're partaking in a tradition that
has been passed down for many generations "Wine and Champagnes".
Many people tend to ask "how much wine should I get for a celebration! An average
serving of wine is approximately 5 oz. You can assume that an individual can consume 5
oz. Every 30 – 45 minutes, so multiply the number of people times the length of your party
(Round off to the nearest – I would say 30 Minutes).
From my experience, I find that the average wine consumer really tends to stick to "what
they know" which means it depends on the crowd. If you are having a crowd that does not
know about wines, my observation is that you should go with, 25 % White Zinfandel, 25 %
white wine (chardonnay), 25% red wine (cabernet), and 25 % other things.
Cheese Pairing Tips:
Chardonnay - Strong Cheeses (Cheddar Cheese, Provolone, Gruyere)
Cabernet – Strong Cheeses (Danish, Blue)
White Zinfandel – Cream Cheese, Baby Swiss
Riesling and Champagne – Colby
Remember, those palates that loves Chardonnay do not necessarily appreciate the more
a bottle of wine cost! (Chardonnay's are quite reasonable, as well as Cabernet's and
Zinfandels)
Pairing wines with the foods for the occasion? Of course if you are a bride please stay
away from the reds!!!! (YOUR WEDDING DRESS)
Chocolate Lovers: Chocolate Fountains (DivaLicious) or Chocolate Covered
